A great big hello to my fellow seniors of all ages. You’ve landed on my Senior Fitness website and hopefully it’s because you want to get in better shape.

There is no limit to the age when you think you are too old to exercise in some fashion. I know seniors in their 90s that still exercise & walk. I’m 84 and I workout every other day and walk 3 times every day. I’ve pledged to live past 100 and figure my exercise regimen will help me do that.

Presently due to my exercise & diet I almost always get guess to be in my early 70s.

If you are only 65 and think you’re too old to exercise believe me when I tell you that you’re not.

Exercise can consist of any type of activity. It doesn’t have to be lifting weights, jogging or playing golf. Doing any type of movement is beneficial so stick around & I’ll be covering some easy ways to exercise.


Why I Decided to do Senior Fitness

I’ve been active my who life & after telling my wife I was going to live to be 100 I decided to I needed to get more dedicated. I had been lifting weight for quite a while but found my skipping or shortening my workouts. I went online & started looking for a workout I could stick to every day.

I found a site called Now Lifestyle which had a workout program called 7 Minute Workout. That sounded better than what I was doing so I checked into it, found that it sounded like something I could do & signed up.

Over the years I’ve seen a lot of people younger than myself pass away. Almost all of them didn’t do any exercise. The only exercise many of them got was walking from the easy chair to the kitchen & back.

This all leads me up to the reason I started this website. I thought this & emailing many people every day with all kinds of articles of interest to seniors including exercise ones I could get more people interested in exercising.



I Want of See All Seniors Being More Active

I send out a lot of articles & with this website along with others like it, I hope to persuade more seniors start being more active. I’ll be covering all kinds of activities that can help seniors turn their lifestyle into a more active one. Due to this they will surely add some quality years to their lives.

Remember you don’t have to join a gym to get in better shape or try to build your muscles up like Arnold as any type of activity will benefit you.
